As a teacher and martial artist, Roy D. Anthony brings a wealth of experience, expertise and dedication. He has been teaching Kung Fu for over 20 years and is credited with having taught a number of Toronto's Wing Chun instructors. His career boasts highlights that include Martial arts choreography for film and television, sabbaticals to China and a lifelong dedication to the study of Martial Arts.

Roy began his study of martial arts In 1970, yet much earlier, his talents in life-drawing, demonstrated an early fascination with art and movement, and human kinetics. In 1981 Roy completed a year of Kinesiology studies at University of Waterloo. In 1982 he auditioned and was awarded enrollment at Ryerson University's School of Dance where he studied and performed until 1985. In 1983, under some of Canada's finest instructors, Roy intensified his existing studies in martial arts including Wushu, Wing Chun and Hapkido as well as fencing and the Filipino Martial Arts Kali, Eskrima, Arnis. He participated successfully in many Wing Chun Kung Fu tournaments and demonstrations. Roy also choreographed and performed in the ancient art of Lion Dancing (Dragon Dancing). His performances were featured at many public functions in both the martial arts and Chinese communities. In 1989 he received the station of Wing Chun Master (Sifu) and has been teaching ever since.
